NDIS readiness is a concept regarding existing organisations that will be transferring form traditional block and activity based funding models.
With a slow but eventual transition to the NDIS, disability service providers need to be ready with their new strategies and mechanisms on how they will still deliver
their services. In some cases, consideration may fall to services that may no longer be viable to service.
We have built a NDIS Readiness Plan for business operations that we feel is a great platform to fit disability service providers. Designed in the style of a coat hanger,
the ‘Hanger Model’ as we refer to it, actually hangs from the macro-environment with a roll out schedule delivery spaced out along the bridge of the hanger.
The model takes into account, time, externalities, services delivered and stakeholders.
